Emma Schutte - Contemporary Artist, Student at UC DAAP

Hello, I am currently a 5th-year student at the University of Cincinnati, earning my Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts within the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) with a Minor in Art History. As a multidisciplinary artist, I most enjoy the mediums of photography, ceramics, and painting. The process of art as well as art's relationship with society and personal health keep me passionate and inspired to continue making art. In my artistic career, I am interested mainly in artist collaboration, public art, studio art, glaze formulation, kiln maintenance and pottery production in a ceramic studio.

Throughout the years of my undergraduate career at the University of Cincinnati, I have most gravitated towards the mediums of painting and ceramics. All of my co-ops have been ceramics related, and I am in the process of building my own pottery business online.
