Paintings from the early years in my career. Many of which are from my Introduction to Painting Course at the University of Cincinnati, and many others from outside the academic studio space.
My most recent paintings reside in this folder. Many of these paintings were created while living in Louisville, KY during my first co-op in Spring of 2020, while many others were created during my Interdisciplinary Critique course at the University of Cincinnati in Summer of 2020. These paintings show my enjoyment of abstractness and color, and also show a progression towards my individualized style of art-making.
Paintings which include the use of translucent paper. These paintings are products of multiple layers built up with acrylic paint and translucent papers stacked upon each other. I really enjoy working with layers and visual depth, so these paintings are especially interesting to me.
